hair-raising realizations (and fun with avatars)

Me: we're talking about what a nightmare Wal*Mart is
Cindy: *shaking head*
Me: now I have a hat
Cindy: hmmm
Cindy: I liked it better without the hat
Cindy: but the hat is good
Me: it's more witchy
Me: my hair's not really red now
Me: I should probably change it
Cindy: nah
Cindy: my hair isn't really black
Cindy: lol
Me: no, I mean it's grown out
Cindy: oh
Cindy: my hair is growing out
Me: I haven't dyed it in like a year
Cindy: but it is healthy
Cindy: I havn't dyed mine in OVER a year
Cindy: I have been using a different shampoo
Cindy: I was using tresime
Cindy: or however it is spelled
Me: I haven't dyed mine since I moved here
Cindy: now I use VO5 strawberry with milk or somethin
Cindy: it it makes my hair shiny and real healthy
Cindy: I wanted Amy to cut it the other day but she was too busy
Cindy: it isn't often I want to cut it and when I do she never has time
Cindy: so it never gets cute
Cindy: cut
Cindy: I doubt I dye it for a long while
Cindy: I want to dye it but can't decide to what
Cindy: I want to get it cut but can't ever make up my mind if I really do want it cut or just a nice trip
Cindy: trim
Me: mine hasn't been trimmed since this time last year
Cindy: I think it was back in spring
Cindy: I think I am getting tired of it being so long but I am so scared to get it cut
Cindy: it has taken me quite a few years to get it this length
Me: don't cut your hair
Me: I'm blonde now
Cindy: I want to go darker too but I have been blonde for so long and I think that hair has a small effect on your attitude to how people see you
Cindy: so I just stay the same
Cindy: just wash it and brush it
Cindy: no dye
Cindy: no cut
Me: that just doesn't look right
Cindy: yeah
Cindy: I think it is because we are not use to it
Cindy: It's like, what's that? a new color? hmmmm
Me: I don't wanna be blonde
Me: maybe cos everybody but me has wanted it
Me: for me to go natural
Me: even Brad says he likes the natural color better
Cindy: I dunno
Cindy: I like you either way
Cindy: I like you natual color becuase it has been so long since you have had it that way and it would be a nice change
Cindy: at least for a while
Cindy: I (think) I am ready for a change with my own hair .........................
Me: I haven't had my natural color in about 12 years
Cindy: wowwy
Me: Brad insists I'm a brunette
Cindy: what?
Cindy: why?
Me: cos he says my hair is brown!!
Cindy: do you think so?
Me: nope
Me: we're arguing it out
Me: it is a little brownish now that I look at it though
Me: it's still half red
Me: that --> is closer to my natural color
Me: maybe I am a brunette
Cindy: I should be going to bed. I have to work 11 to 7 tomorrow
Me: maybe I am after all
Cindy: with your smarts you could be
Me: I have to be at work at like 11:45
