plunge into darkness
from my Gamespot blog cos I'm obviously too lazy to write an actual meaningful entry:

plunge into darkness
We both got our state tax checks at the end of last week. We spirited later that day to a secondhand electronics/vacuum cleaner store in Huber Heights [Vacs & Videos] and Brad added a vintage NES to our collection plus four games [two of which were my choice, Rampage and Joust]. They had a very limited selection of good games for any system, including the NES, but I managed to find a little gem for myself for Gamecube [and only twelve bucks!], Eternal Darkness. I've only played one chapter so far cos those kind of games make me very nervous and I can only play them a little at a time or my blood pressure just gets too high. I like it, I just hate zombies... and there are a lot of them in this game. Beyond that, the graphics are scary, the sound is great and the story is really immersive. I dig it, it's just going to take me some time to get through it with my nerves and all. At least I'm taking a break from We ♥ Katamari. All I really have left to do there is roll up 1,000,000 red roses though the other levels are still fun to play. I just need to do something else for a while. So many games, so little time... I truly have no life *smacks forehead* oh well.
